A paper copy of this notice is going home with children today:

Dear parent/caregiver,

Today the Premier announced a 7-day statewide lockdown starting at 6.00pm tonight (Tuesday 20 July).

Only the children of essential workers and vulnerable children will be able to attend school and our OSHC services. If you are an essential worker or the parent of a vulnerable child where attendance at school is required, please let us know via email [email protected] by 8pm tonight. This gives us the opportunity to tailor of staffing for the lockdown and minimise movement as per the intentions of the lockdown.

A skeleton staff will provide supervision but not a learning program for tomorrow. If your child must attend, we will be here for them. OSHC will be open to children of essential workers or vulnerable children ONLY and Mary requires families who need this service to make contact on 8389 1871.

Our 6/7 students have been asked to take home school laptops/devices, R-5 students will be given a work pack and anything else they need to continue their learning from home over the 4 days.

Teachers will check-in with families over the 4 days and will communicate directly with parents via email, school wide communications will occur via the SchoolStream app.

All South Australians are making sacrifices to ensure our community remains as safe as possible. We appreciate that this is a significant undertaking for you and your family.  Your child’s teacher, our support staff and I are here to support you where we can.

Regards,

Lyndsey Martin
