A delicious, seasonal alternative to the pub classic

The wrappers we used were purchased from the Asian supermarket at the Central Market.

We served our sushi with pickled ginger and soy sauce.

The ingredients for the sauce which is served with this omelette is an approximation to the traditional Japanese recipe.

A delicious omelette style dish served with simple steamed rice.

A simple soup served as a part of our Japanese Feast.

Chickpeas never tasted so good!

We used Mary's lemons to make our risotto. We added the grated rind and juice of 2 small lemons.

We made rolls at school, but this recipe can easily be made into a couple of loaves too.

You can vary the amount of chilli you add to suit your taste.

Our balls of gnocchi fell apart in the cooking process, but the dish still tasted delicious!

To keep it simple we folded these samosas into basic triangles much like spanakopita (spinach triangles)

We used broccoli and cauliflower to make these simple fritters

These fritters have been enjoyed by all classes over the past few weeks.

The dressing for this salad is delicious.

We made our own lasagne sheets, which were delicious, but bought sheets are a perfect substitute.
